“Temporary Sanity is in a perfect location in Oxnard. Just steps from the channel beach which makes it easy to launch kayaks and stand-up-paddle boards. Also it is just steps away from the Silver Strand which is the best beach EVER! The house is clean and has a private courtyard with a fire pit and a gas cooker. She also provides two kayaks and several life jackets and sand toys. My grandchildren loved it! Lisa was a great communicator and they even welcomed our dog!”

There is am easy access king bedroom located on the ground floor with full bathroom with shower ensuite. A smart TV and closet. (32″ door)

The second King bedroom is located upstairs and has a walk-in closet and ensuite half bathroom with a toilet and sink. It also has a smart TV.

The third bedroom located upstairs is queen-sized with a closet and located across from the main bathroom with shower.

All beds have hybrid mattresses with hotel-style linens and extra pillows.

The lower bathroom is located in the king bedroom and has a shower.  
The upper bathroom is located off the hallway and has a shower with a bench.  Both bathrooms have the essentials: bath towels, hand towels, washcloths, and a supply of shampoo, conditioner, and body wash.

Small but mighty! Lots of pots and pans, a Keurig coffee maker and pods, new appliances including a dishwasher and refrigerator with filtered water in the door, a knife block and spice rack, plus a blender and assorted other essentials! It has everything you need to cook a meal.

☆☆ LIVING ROOM ☆☆
The living room is located on the ground floor as soon as you enter the house. It has a sofa sleeper and a fireplace with electric candle. There is a 50″ Smart TV and sliding door to our huge patio outdoor dining and lounge seating.

☆☆ PET AND BABY FRIENDLY!☆☆

We are a Pet-Friendly property and do not charge a Pet Fee! We provide you with a couch blanket, water and food dish, link roller, waste bags, and take-home leash. We ask that you bring Fido freshly groomed and on a flea program. We know you love to travel with your fur baby and we are happy to be able to provide you with a secure yard for him to be FREE!

We are now stocking Baby Gear! Please request your high-chair, pack-n-play and baby bath ahead of time so we can make sure it is ready for you and Jr.!

☆☆ THE NEIGHBORHOOD ☆☆
The quaint town of Silver Strand beach is a 3/4 mile-long stretch of beautiful coastline. Our home are easy walk to the Harbor and Ocean.

The beach itself is relatively quiet on weekdays but gets a fun crowd on weekends at the north end of the beach. There are plenty of sound waves for surfers with various breaks fit for any skill level. If you want to leave the neighborhood, Cafe Zack is a short drive and great for dinner and Cafe Nouveau is a must for brunch. 

So many things to do! You can rent a fishing boat or go whale watching or kayak through the caves of the Channel Islands. You are within blocks of the Bay shops and waterfront restaurants. In addition, Buena Ventura Golf Club is just minutes up the road. Don’t miss the massive farmers market on the weekend too! This home will become your favorite getaway gem!

Silver Strand is the last hidden gem of a California beach. Nestled between Malibu and Santa Barbara, it has that super-local feel.  You can watch sailboats, and little electric boats traverse the harbor from the boardwalk.  Across the way, rent a jetski or paddleboat, or go deep-sea fishing. The whale-watching tour happens between December and May.  It will become your favorite place to get away from the daily grind of life.
