“What a fantastic little beach house! Everything was super clean and tidy, and Lisa anticipated all of our needs. The interior was beautifully decorated and modern, but the back porch was our favorite! Multiple shade structures made for a delightful spot to sit down and digest a good book and dine al fresco with friends and family. Additionally, the fenced-in yard was a huge bonus for us. We have 2 well-behaved dogs…but they’re big dogs. Not only were the fences solid, but they were also extra tall and well-barricaded on both sides. As such, this home was not only “pet friendly,” it was also pet SECURE. Clean-up was also super easy with the use of a pressurized hose on an easy-to-use reel. As for the location, you can’t beat it! It’s a super short walk to a white sandy beach that was quiet and very sparsely populated… a rarity in California! And the community surrounding the home is wonderful. Lastly, Lisa was amazing! She was consistently available, and her interaction style was clear, super friendly, and gracious. Such a wonderful host! Overall, we had a glorious week and will return in a heartbeat when we can!!!”

Both bedrooms boast extremely comfortable hybrid medium-firm beds for a fantastic night’s sleep for everyone. The master bedroom features a beautifully decorated King bed and a sliding door with access to the backyard oasis. The second bedroom with a Queen bed also offers a sliding door to the backyard. Both rooms include lamps with charging stations to make sure all of your devices are as supercharged as you are! Each bedroom has its own Smart TV and air conditioning/heating unit. There is an additional queen sleeper sofa in the living room if you need it during your stay.

The crystal-clean bathroom offers not only a tiled bathtub but a standalone shower as well. And, with access to the backyard, it’s the perfect spot to clean off and cool down on the way into the home after a day of beach play!

You have self-check-in but I will check with you after you are settled to make sure you have everything you need.

NEIGHBORHOOOD
The quaint town of Silverstrand beach is a 3/4 mile-long stretch of beautiful coastline. Our bungalows are all easy walks to the sand, with Harbor views too.

The beach is pretty quiet on weekdays but gets a fun crowd on weekends at the north end of the beach. There are plenty of good waves for surfers with various breaks fit for any skill level. If you want to leave the neighborhood, Cafe Zack is a short drive and great for dinner, and Cafe Nouveau is a must for brunch.

So many things to do! You can rent a fishing boat or go whale watching close by. You are within blocks of the Bay shops and restaurants. In addition, Buena Ventura Golf Club is just minutes up the road. Don’t miss the massive farmers market on the weekend too! This will become your favorite getaway gem!

Silver Strand is the last hidden gem of a California beach. Nestled between Malibu and Santa Barbara, it has that super-local feel. From the Boardwalk, you can watch sailboats and little electric boats traverse the harbor. Across the way, rent a jetski or paddleboat, or go deep-sea fishing. The whale-watching tour happens between December and May. It will become your favorite place to get away from the daily grind of life
