This house is perfectly located on a 100 block, just half a block to the ocean – an easy and safe walk for kids and seniors. It is a sought-after single story bungalow with a private entry patio, perfect for sitting with a glass of wine or cup of coffee – plus a fire pit and If you want to nap, the futon can be opened too! We are pet-friendly and provide a ‘pet station’ with blanket for the couch, link rollers, water and food dish, waste baggies, and a take-home leash. The back patio has a dining table and BBQ grill. The washer and dryer on on the back patio too. We have two king bedrooms and a bedroom with two twins plus a sofa sleeper. A large kitchen with Thermador range and new refrigerator with filtered water and ice in the door. ff you have an infant, request ahead of time a mini-crib, pack-n-play and/or high chair. We are constantly upgrading our properties, so you can be assured that the home will be even better than expected when you arrive!

BATHROOMS
The master bedroom has a private bathroom featuring a classic pedestal tub against the wall and a walk-in shower hidden behind glass doors. The second bathroom is located in between the twin bedroom and the second master for easy access. It boasts a tiled shower and built-in storage for your belongings. Both bathrooms stock hotel-quality towels and bathroom basics so you can unwind comfortably.

KITCHEN
If you love entertaining, you?ll love the open-concept floor plan and how the gourmet kitchen flows effortlessly into the living areas. The fully furnished kitchen features modern appliances and sufficient granite counter space so that meal prep and cooking are a breeze. Store groceries in the custom cabinets, and keep your favorite snacks in the new full-size refrigerator that features filtered water and ice in the door. Enjoy freshly made coffee whenever you want, courtesy of the Keurig Coffee maker and pods.

LIVING ROOM
The open living area offers plenty of room to kick back and relax. Perfect for family movie nights, choose your favorite spot on one of the comfy sofas and enjoy your fill of entertainment with the 58″ Roku TV over the gas log fireplace.

Need to work while you’re on vacation? There is a laptop-friendly workspace in a sunny corner of the living room. The Wifi is fast and reliable Spectrum 1G Ultra Wifi. Anticipate needing a printer or monitor, let us know ahead of time!

PET FRIENDLY
We are happy for you to bring your well-behaved and groomed (de-flead) dog! We provide a couch blanket, dog cushion, water and food bowls, lint roller and take-home leash.

BABY
We have a Pack-n-Play and Hi-chair available upon request. Please make your request early so we can secure one for you!

OUTSIDE
You’ll love the fully furnished patio space that is perfect for entertaining. It features futon-style seating around a modern fire pit. Relax here after a day at the beach or enjoy dinner and ocean breezes. A second patio at the back of the home gives you more options for outdoor hangout spaces. Outdoor dining furniture, lattice walls for privacy, and custom beach decor create a private space to bring people together. There is a gas grill for you to use.

BEACH TOYS
We provide a wagon, beach chairs, beach towels boogie boards* and beach toys* (*may not be available during winter months or if someone left them at the beach!)

ACTIVITIES

Open your Digital Guidebook as soon as you receive it! It is loaded with local activities and restaurants, plus some great ‘self-care’ options. Some of these you will want to book ahead so browse early!

The beach is fairly quiet on weekdays but gets a fun crowd on weekends at the north end of the beach. There are plenty of good waves for surfers with various breaks fit for any skill level. Cafe Nouveau is a must for brunch.

So many things to do! You can rent a fishing boat or go whale watching close by. You are within blocks of the Bay shops and restaurants. In addition, Buena Ventura Golf Club is just minutes up the road. Don’t miss the massive farmers market on the weekend too! This will become your favorite getaway gem! Silver Strand is the last hidden gem of a California beach. Nestled between Malibu and Santa Barbara, it has that super-local feel. You can watch sailboats and little electric boats traverse the harbor from the Boardwalk. Across the way, rent a jet ski or paddle board, or go deep-sea fishing. The whale-watching tour happens between December and May. It will become your favorite place to get away from the daily grind of life!

With three restaurants and a convenience store located on the north side of the beach, walking, biking, and skating is the way to travel on Silver strand. If guests wish to travel to downtown Oxnard or up to Ventura, Uber and Lyft are plentiful.

There is one security camera on the roof looking at the driveway and the entrance to the gated patio. It is to protect the property and our guests safety. This is the only surveillance camera on the property.
